zonmai

zonmai is a French artist from the Basque coast, based in Brussels. Active for several years on SoundCloud, she is increasingly making a name for herself.

Her style seems to come straight from a peak time on MTV or MCM in the mid-2000s. It's a concentration of Britney Spears' Y2K deliriums mixed with the postures of the most punk rappers in history, but also, we believe, a certain idea of what France Gall might have been in 2023.

With a dozen shows to her credit, including the Core Festival, the Grünt Festival and Les Ardentes, it's on stage that Zonmai's energy naturally enters into communion with the audience.
