From May 14 till 17th, Brighton hosted The Great Escape, showcasing 450 emerging artists from all over the world in 30+ walkable venues across the city and a pop-up festival site on Brighton Beach.
As always, Belgium Booms was present to promote the Belgian scene, with the support of Sabam and PlayRight, powered by Lotto. This year, Belgium was represented by Dressed Like Boys, Lézard, ECHT!, The Haunted Youth, Oliver Symons, J. Bernardt and MEYY. On Thursday, MayWay Records hosted its own showcase as part of The Alternative Escape. Dressed Like Boys, The Haunted Youth and Lézard played their showcase there.
